Back in the early 90's Zooid was a collective of bands trying to get there music heard and shows played. Zooid had a record label called E-Quality and later on a wholesale distro called K-Baal.

This first compilation 12" LP is a mixture of punk, hardcore, grind and noise with bands like Anarcrust, Cry Of Terror and a couple more. It's long out of print and never released on CD, as far as I know.

My good friends from long time gone! I totally lost track of 'em. I don't believe there any place where you can get there stuff anymore, except maybe the secondhand stores or the "collector stores". So here I give it to you for free.

Anarcrust were a Rotterdam (NL) based band from late 80 till mid 90's. Playing all over Europe and making friends all over the world with their anarcho-crust. After the disaster of destroying his vocals, Bart had to do something and began singing lessons..... It helped but the aggressive sound of his voice was gone.

This is not the crust you know of bands like Hiatus or Doom, it's more "arty".

What do we have here. Another old one, a vinyl rip of one of the most admired bands (at least for me) in the punk/crust/trash scene in the 90's. The quality is......punk, the commitment is more punk. I'd like to call this a raging slab of a record. Still can't get enough of them. Although it has been released as a CD (with the discography of Suffer), on vinyl it's still more punker than anything else.
